Online Book Lists

Hey guys! I know that a couple of you had questions about the online book lists and their - how shall I say it - functionality. Hopefully this post will answer those questions.

First, for those of you who haven't discovered them yet, we have created a whole bunch of book lists filled with suggestion of things to read. There are paper copies available in the library for you to grab while you're here (located on the tables near those comfy chairs). But if you prefer looking online, feel free to visit our website, where all of our lists can be found. The online lists also have links right next to each book so you can find it in the catalog and place a hold if you need to. Just click
here to check out all of the lists that we have to offer.

Those of you who have started working on that Extra Challenge booklet may also be looking for the much-discussed Teen Art Scene list(s) to fulfill one of the challenges. Old-school paper copies of all 3 (yes, THREE!) lists are currently available in the library. Unfortunately, things have been so hectic with the summer program that poor Sandy (who's in charge of putting everything online) just hasn't had time to finish getting everything up just yet - thus the links that aren't working. Sorry! But keep checking back periodically - it may be a somewhat slow process, but hopefully everything will be functioning properly soon. Also, please note that there is also an option to look at a printable version of this list on the website. It's not quite as snazzy as the online list with the links, but if you just need to grab a few titles, you can use that as a jumping point from home if you need to.

Again, many apologies for any confusion or inconvenience this has caused! As soon as everything's completely online, we'll be sure to let everyone know.
